Islamabad (Staff Report): Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday challenged his indictment, by an accountability court in corruption reference filed by NAB, in Islamabad High Court.
Dar stated in his petition that he was indicted by the accountability court without giving him the mandated time requesting the IHC to suspend the indictment proceedings till he submits his response.
Dar was indicted by the accountability court on Wednesday after his counsel’s request for grant of seven days was denied by the court remarking that the trial needed to be wrapped up in six months, in line with the directives of top court.
