Lahore (Staff Report): CIA Police claimed, at least four suspects were killed in a shootout early morning today (Saturday).
CIA Police reported, four suspects identified as Babar, Nadeem, Sattar and Azam were involved in kidnapping for ransom murder and were being taken for identification by the personnel, when their close associates opened fire at Manawa area.
All four suspects were killed during the crossfire,, however, taking advantage of bad light their accomplices managed to flee from the spot.
Police claimed, in 2016 the suspects killed a 14-year-old hostage at Samanabad`s area, after taking ransom of Rs 2.5 million.
Earlier, in the wee hours of Friday, four alleged dacoits were killed in a police operation in Lahore`s Siggiyan Pull.
According to local Police authorities, the suspects shoot dead five people in Millat Park who resisted or attempted to fight off their robbery attempt, Police also detained three dacoits after identification, the suspects were being shifted to a location when their accomplices fired on the personnel.
