Islamabad (Staff Report): Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in the different parts of the country.
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted Chitral, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Malakand and Bajor Agency and surrounding areas today (Wednesday), Pakistan Meteorological Department reported.
PMD stated that the epicenter of the quake was near bordering areas of Afghanistan and Tajikistan and occurred at a depth of 68km.
People rushed out of their houses and offices in panic. However, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported as yet.
