Karachi (Staff Report): The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) started the week with bullish trend as KSE-100 Index ended at 50,120.93 points for a gain of 1,565.63 points or 3.22 percent.
Banking, cement and oil stocks propelled the index forward as shares included in the MSCI Pakistan Index led the gains.
KSE-100 Index volumes reached 289 million shares by the end of the session, with a total worth of nearly Rs 17.2 billion.
Stocks of 389 companies were traded on the PSX, of which 317 gained in value, 53 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
