Envoys meeting over foreign policy matters underway

Islamabad (Staff Report): The selected Pakistani envoys are holding a three-day conference today (Tuesday), for brainstorming on important foreign policy issues.

Among those attending the conference are Pakistan's envoys from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and Belgium.

According to detail, the participants are discussing potential strengths of the country’s foreign policy and options available in view of the geo-political and regional situation.

The new US policy on Afghanistan war and the challenges arising as a result of the revised approach, and the Kashmir issue are among the matters to be discussed in the moot. 

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif addressed the opening session of the conference, while PM Abbasi is set to chair the concluding session of the moot.
