Sydney: The reigning Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia will be stripped of her title after 22 grams of meth was allegedly found in a car she was driving.

Najah Ghamrawi, 18, was on December 21 arrested after a car chase through Western Sydney when she burst a tyre and was forced to pull over.

Police pursued the Volkswagen Golf the teenager was driving unpredictably through several suburbs.

When they pulled over the car, the beauty queen - who won her crown over Salim Mehajer's sister Mary in July - was questioned along with a man who was a passenger in the vehicle.

After a search, police say they found drugs and cash in the car, DailyMail reported.

Ms Ghamrawi was fined more than $1,350 at Bankstown police station at 11.45pm that night for driving while not wearing a seat belt and not displaying P-plates.

She was not charged with any drug offences, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The 20-year-old man was charged with supplying drugs and dealing with the proceeds of crime and was bailed to appear in Burwood Local Court on February 22.

Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia organisers said they were desperate to speak to was Ms Ghamrawi but she was not answering calls or emails.
