Khanewal (Staff Report): At least three people drowned as their car fell into Shujabad Canal due to over-speeding near Bhatta Kot area of tehsil Kabirwala on Wednesday.
On receiving information of the incident, rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operation.
The rescue teams recovered bodies of Jaffar, Pervez and car driver Mairaj, and shifted them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kabirwala.
