Terrorism is a conspiracy to weaken Pakistan: CJP Saqib Nisar

Quetta (Staff Report): Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has said that terrorism is a conspiracy to weaken Pakistan.

While addressing a condolence reference in Quetta on Tuesday, marking a year from the deadly Civil Hospital bombing where more than 70 lawyers were killed, Saqib Nisar said enemies did not want to see Pakistan prosperous.

“We have to fight against this conspiracy with determination as defeat in this war will leave nothing for our next generation,” he said

Expressing grief over the cowardly attack in Quetta, the chief justice said that he has no word for condemnation and condolence.

Saying Quetta suicide bombing is not a single incident, he said that innocent children were martyred by terrorist in Peshawar.

Referring to ongoing war against terrorism, he said judiciary is also to play its role in it, adding that every institution should take part in this war.

Senior judges and lawyers are present on the occasions.
