Mumbai (Web Desk): A shocking video of a teenage girl went viral on social media who mowed down by a TRAIN while chatting to a friend on her phone, but miraculously survived.
Pratiksha Natekar, 19, was oblivious to the sound of the approaching engine as she crossed the tracks at a station because she was wearing earphones.
The CCTV footage showed that passengers on a platform looking panicked as she desperately runs around the track before being struck.
The impact then throws her into the middle of the track, forcing the goods train to continue over her body.
Fortunately, she only suffered minor injuries to her lips, eyes and head.
She was taken to Rajawadi Hospital and later discharged.
