Lahore (Staff Report): The first Director General of Radio Pakistan, Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari, or known as Z. A. Bukhari is being remembered on his 42nd death anniversary of is being observed on Wednesday, July 12.

He served as a distinguished and legendary broadcaster in British India and later in Radio Pakistan, after independence. He was also a writer, poet and musician.

ZA Bukhari was born in 1904 in Peshawar and died on July 12, 1975 in Karachi.

The first death anniversary of late Director General of Radio Pakistan, Agha Nasir is also being observed on Wednesday (July 12).

Agha Nasir was a prominent Pakistani director, producer, broadcaster and a TV playwright.
