Lahore (Staff Report): Former Senator Babar Awan filed a reference against the current Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif today on chairman PTI Imran Khan’s directives in Lahore High Court (LHC), demanding him to step down from his office following JIT’s final report.
According to details, Joint Investigation Team (JIT) submitted the final report aftermath in which Sharif family was found guilty of monetary corruption along with other heinous charges.
After submission of the JIT’s final report, all opposition parties have presented a united front in demanding the resignations of the Sharif brothers and Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar. They claimed the evidence against the “ruling family” was nothing short of overwhelming.
