Rawalpindi (Staff Report): British High Commissioner Thomas Drew called on Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Bajwa at the General Headquarters on Monday, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relations wing.
ISPR statement said that matters of mutual interest and regional security were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting was held before the COAS departed for a one-day visit to Saudi Arabia along with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The premier will meet senior officials of the kingdom on the ongoing crisis involving Qatar and Saudi Arabia and other Arab states during the visit.
