Pakistan hockey team to play three-match series against Ireland ahead WHL

Lahore (Web Desk): Pakistan Hockey Team will visit Ireland next month to play a three-match series, prior to the World Hockey League (WHL) scheduled to be held in London this summer.

Secretary of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Shahbaz Ahmad said while talking to media that the federation encourages players to get maximum international exposure prior to the WHL.

He also stated, “Pakistan would play tree matches against Ireland on June 1, 2 and 4 in Belfast. Pakistan team will leave for London on May 27 then from there the team would travel to Belfast on May 28 to play a three-match series.”

He further added that Pakistan team will then return to London on June 10, to participate in the Champions Trophy beginning from June 15.
