Lahore (Staff Report): Summer vacations in public schools and colleges across the province will commence from May 25 to August 14, said a notification issued by the Punjab government on Friday.
Earlier, Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashood Ahmad said the provincial government will not allow private schools to conduct summer camps in the school premises.
He said that Punjab government has formed raid teams that will monitor the schools in summers.
Rana Mashood said that the owners of private schools can take a fee on monthly basis instead of charging a lump sum fee of three months from the students.
