Dubai (Staff Report): The Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met the Abu Dhabi crown prince Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed during his visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday.
According to Arab media, the Afghan president expressed his condolence over the five UAE diplomats who became victim to a terrorist attack in Afghan city Kandahar. He also met the victims’ families and presented them the ‘Jamal-ud-Din Afghani award’.
Both the leaders expressed wishes to collaborate over matters of mutual interest during the meeting.
The Afghan President thanked the UAE government for development work being conducted in his country.
