Four civilians injured in Indian unprovoked firing along LOC

Abbaspur (Staff Report): At least four people including a minor girl sustained serious injuries as Indian forces continued unprovoked firing and shelling Abbaspur sector in Rawlakot on Monday morning, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relations wing.

According ISPR, Indian army targeted civilian population of Kakota, Dhara, Batol and Chari Kot at 6am in the morning and injured two people.

The Pakistan Army responded befittingly to Indian unprovoked firing, said ISPR spokesperson.

Earlier on Sunday, at least two people were injured in Indian forces’ firing in villages of Polas and Taroti in Abbaspur Sector.

There have since been repeated outbreaks of cross-border firing, with both sides reporting deaths and injuries including of civilians.
