Okara (Staff Report): A man axed his pregnant wife to death over honour killing in Tandlianwala near Okara on Friday.
The woman’s husband, Amin, was having doubts about the character of his wife Najma. The couple often quarrelled each other on this alleged issue.
The debate once again started on the day of the incident, on this, Amin became furious and axed his wife to death.
Later the natives caught the killer and handed him over to police. The accused confessed to the police and said the murder was aimed at salvaging his family’s honour. “I am quite satisfied with what I have done,” he said.
