Pakistan FO summons Indian HC over Kulbushan issue

Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan’s Foreign Office has summoned Indian High Commissioner today (Friday).

According to details, Indian HC Gautam Bambawala met Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua in Islamabad.

The Indian official appealed against Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent Kulbushan Yadav’s death sentence.

Bambawala has asked the Pakistani government to provide the details of Raw agent’s punishment.

The Indian high commissioner said that New Delhi had requested consular access to Jadhav for the 14th time, claiming that there had been no response to Delhi's previous 13 requests.

He further said, “Yadav is an Indian citizen. Pakistan should disclose the charges against him.”

Bambawala stated that India doesn’t know anything regarding the disappearance of former Pakistan Army officer lieutenant colonel (retd.) Habib Zahir.
