Lahore (Staff Report): Christian community is celebrating Easter today (Sunday) with religious zeal and enthusiasm around the globe including Pakistan.
On this occasion, special prayers will be held at churches for the prosperity, and security of the country.
Strict security measures have been taken to avoid any untoward situation.
The Ministry of Interior has announced an optional holiday for the Christian community on April 17.
Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif felicitated the Christian community on the occasion and said the nation shares the Christian community’s happiness.
