Peshawar (Web Desk): A ceremony was held today (Friday) to commemorate the martyred students of Army Public School (APS) terror attack of 16th December 2014.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwah was also attended the ceremony including Governor KP, civil and military officers and parents of APS victims.
General Qamar addressed to the attendees of the ceremony to express sympathies for the martyrs of APS incident at 2nd anniversary of the event.
He also condemned the coward terrorists who targeted innocent students. He said such attempts cannot prevent us from achieving our goals.
During address, COAS Qamar Javeid Bajwah said that we cannot forget the sacrifices of APS children. I can feel the pain and grief of the parents who lost their children in the APS carnage. I have the pictures of the martyrs.
General Bajwah said, we will fight till we do justice to the sacrifices of APS students and we will not rest till blood of APS martyrs is avenged.
Terrorist failed to achieve their goal to destroy our courage and efforts. We cannot forget the martyrs of APS. We are trying our best to end this war. No one can bear the pain alone and we are with the families of APS victims. We will try to comfort their pain and stand by them at this precious loss.
