SHARJAH: Quetta Gladiators defeated Lahore Qalandars in a thrilling match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, registering a win in the 11th match of Pakistan Super League 2017 against by 5 wickets.
Chasing the target of 201 runs, Gladiators’ KP Pietersen scored 88 runs off 42 bowls, Sarfraz Ahmad 45 runs off 25 balls, while opener batsman Ahmed Shehzad made 15 runs off 15 bowls.
Earlier Lahore Qalandars set a huge target of 201 runs for Gladiators at a loss of only 3 wickets.
For Qalandars, JJ Roy scored 51 runs off 27 bowls; Fakhar Zaman made 47 runs off 31 balls, while Mohammad Rizwan scored 46 runs off 28 balls.
On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators’ Hasan Khan got two wickets and Zulfiqar Babar got one wicket.
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to field.
