A Chinese company has giving millions for sleeping, calling those hired people as “Professional Sleepers”.
According to Beijing Morning Post, a company in Shanghai has vacancies for “professional sleepers” and is looking for suitable candidates.
The company is a dietary supplement manufacturer and they describe the job scope of a “professional sleeper”. It primarily involves consuming their products, going to sleep and then writing a report about their experience.
People will be tasked with putting on various sleep schedules as they want to find out how the products work on people with different sleeping times, based on the types of various occupations.
The company is offering a cool 1.5 million rupees (1 million Yuan) a year for this position.
Candidates only need to have a passion and love for sleeping to qualify.
