Moscow (Web Desk): A high-ranking Russian diplomat was found shot in the head at his apartment in Moscow, just hours after a Russian ambassador was gunned down by a Turkish assassin.
Polshikov’s wife was reportedly inside the home at the time of the shooting, but she was said to be safe.
According to some reports, Peter Polshikov, 56, was a senior official in the Latin American department of the Russian foreign ministry.
Police said that 2 bullet shells and a gun was found laying under the bathroom sink.
Authorities stated, time and motive of his death is unclear yet but investigation is underway to discover how Polshikov died.
