ISLAMABAD: Ex rulers of those states which are now part of Pakistan have been given a huge allowance by Pakistan since Present day Pakistan became West Pakistan in 1956, for their loyalty. This allowance has been increased many times in the past.
Now, a Senate panel approved a bill on Monday to increase allowances of former rulers of states that acceded to Pakistan at the time of independence by as much as 200 per cent.
