Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Turkish Defence Minister Fikri Isik on Wednesday to discuss matters related to the regional situation and bilateral security cooperation, Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) said in a press release.

During the meeting ─ which took place during the COAS' official visit to Turkey ─ the two parties agreed upon the potential for cooperation in the fields of security policies, defence production and human resource training.

Pakistan's Ambassador to Turkey Sohail Mahmood was also present during the meeting.
