Nawaz Sharif to chair meeting in London, PM arrives to attend  

London: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is going to chair a consultative meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN), in London to discuss about important party matters.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was in New York to participate the United Nations General Assembly session, where he highlighted Pakistan's vital role and strong stance against terrorism in his meetings with world leaders.

PM has also arrived in London to attend the consultative meeting and to meet former premier Nawaz Sharif, other top leadership of PML-N has gathered including Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and others.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also be reaching London today, where he will join the PML-N leaders for the meeting.

Important issues will be brought under discussion regarding the country’s political situation and court cases against the Sharif family, among other matters and necessary decisions regarding party leadership are also expected to be undertaken during the meeting.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif went to London to be with his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, who is under treatment for throat cancer.

On Friday, the Senate passed the Electoral Reforms Bill 2017, which paves the way for Nawaz Sharif to again regain chairmanship of PML-N.

Every citizen will have the right to be part of a political party, except those in government service, and will also have the right to create a political party, the bill revealed.
