Umar Gul ruled out of PSL 2

Dubai (Staff Report): Quetta Gladiators fast pacer Umar Gul was unable to participate in the remaining Pakistan Super League matches after x-ray revealed a fracture in his hand.

According to details, Umar Gul’s participation in PSL is doubtful due to a fracture in his hand. Gul was hit on his forearm while facing a delivery from Wahab Riaz during Gladiators batting. He was out on the next delivery he faced and didn’t bowl during Peshawar’s batting due to pain in his forearm.

After the match, he was taken to the hospital for medical check-up and his X-ray shown a fracture in his left forearm, which has, presumably, ruled him out of remaining matches in Pakistan Super League.

Quetta has already completed its league matches and now scheduled to play the playoff games after finishing in top four at the end of the league.

The Quetta management did not confirm Umar Gul’s replacement yet; however, it is unlikely that the team would opt for a replacement till the final match of the league.
