Karachi (Staff Report): Police authorities claimed the arrest of two members of banned terror group Tehreek-e-Taliban-Pakistan (TTP) in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Police reported two suspects affiliated with TTP`s Yasir Swati group were arrested in a raid near SITE`s Malakand graveyard, the suspects were involved in terrorism, extortion and target killing, two hand grenades and a pistol were recovered from them.
Earlier, the authorities detained at least 183 Afghan residents in a crackdown against illegal immigrants.
Moreover, in raids conducted by the law enforcement authorities, at different areas of the city, at, least twenty suspects were detained.
