Google pays tribute to renowned Pakistani artist Syed Sadequain on 87th birth anniversary

Islamabad (Web Desk): Google paid tribute to the Pakistani artist and calligrapher Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi, with a beautiful doodle at his 87th birth anniversary today.d

Sadequain was born on June 30, 1923 descending from a family of calligraphers. In late 1940s he joined the Progressive Writers and Artists Movement.

His true talent was discovered by Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy who brought Sadequain into the limelight. He received much praise for his calligraphic style, which is widely considered iconic by many critics of South Asian art.

According to details, Google paid gratitude to Pakistani artisan with a doodle.

Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi is also known as Sadequain Naqash. He is the world renowned Pakistani artist and Calligrapher. He is awarded as the best painter and calligrapher of Pakistan.

Renowned for his work in Pakistan, Sadequain received national awards like the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and the Presidential Medal of Honor. He was also recognized in art circles abroad, receiving the Paris Biennale Prize in 1961.
