Quetta (Staff Report): Balochistan's Frontier Corps (FC) on Saturday foiled an attempt to target Muharram commiserations in Quetta, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.
According to the ISPR, a vehicle carrying explosives was discovered during an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Tore Shah, north of Pishin.
The vehicle was to be used to disrupt Ashura proceedings in Quetta, the ISPR claimed.
The ‘mastermind’ behind the plan and his two accomplices have been taken into custody, the ISPR said.
