Court issues Non-bailable arrest warrants for MQM founder and Farooq Sattar

Karachi (Staff Report): Non-bailable warrants for MQM founder Altaf Hussain and Farooq Sattar were issued today (Saturday).

According to details, the court issued non-bailable warrants against MQM founder and other leaders including Farooq Sattar, Junaid Lakhani, Khushbakht Shujaat, and Amin Ul Haqq.

Against the MQM founder's provocative Aug 22 speech an anti-terrorism court (ATC) heard one of the 27 cases, that was registered in Azizabad police station

Due to the judge's absence the case was postponed until April 7 without any verdict. Mehfooz Yar Khan, Qamar Mansoor, Sathi Ishaq, Amjadullah were presented in court.

Earlier, on March 17, Sattar was arrested late night in Karachi but soon he was released after a brief detention.
