NAP being implemented to make Pakistan peaceful, stable: FM Qureshi

Lahore (Web Desk): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said that National Action Plan (NAP) is being implemented to make Pakistan peaceful and stable, Radio Pakistan reported.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, the foreign minister said Pakistan registered unparalleled successes in the war on terror.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan is a peace loving nation. He warned India that it must not challenge the resolve and determination of Pakistan’s youth.

"The youth of the country is laced with patriotism and has the potential to take forward the country on the path of development", Qureshi asserted.

On March 28, Prime Minister Imran Khan, while chairing the meeting of the National Internal Security Committee in Islamabad, vowed that the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) is the foremost priority of the government as it is reflective of will of the nation and a consensus document agreed upon by all political parties of the country.

He said the government is committed to remove all impediments towards implementation of the plan in letter and spirit.
