Peshawar (Staff Report): A soldier was martyred and another injured in a landmine blast in Mohmand Agency on Friday.
The explosion occurred in Tehsil Saafi's Chamarkand area when the two personnel accidentally triggered an explosive while collecting water for their check post, an official said.
The injured soldier was shifted to a local hospital. Security forces initiated a search operation in the area after cordoning it off.
