Lahore (Staff Report): Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel undergoes angioplasty after suffering chest pains.
As per details, Maulana Tariq Jameel was shifted to a private hospital in Lahore on Tuesday, where his angioplasty was conducted. Maulana’s arteries had been blocked as a result of which one stent was inserted, said his spokesperson.
Maulana Jameel will be kept at the hospital for the next 24 hours, the spokesperson said, adding that his health was fine and doctors had recommended rest to him.
Maulana Tariq Jameel is globally famed for his scholarly debates and preaching of Islam. People across the world listen to his sermons and benefit from them.
The news of his ailment has shook his followers who are now praying for his health.
