COVID-19: Pakistan reports 694 new cases in 24 hours

Lahore/Quetta/Karachi/Peshawar (Staff Report/Agencies): The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are slowly increasing as 694 new infections were reported in the country on Friday.

As per data shared by the National Institute of Health (NIH), no death was reported from coronavirus during the last 24 hours while 17,640 tests were conducted across the country.

At least 101 patients are on critical care across the country. The current positivity ratio stands at 3.93%.

This is the highest positivity ratio since February 19, 2022 when it was recorded at 4.15%.
