Lahore (Staff Report): The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday granted protective bail to Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz till November 13.
A two-judge bench of the IHC headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi heard the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader’s plea, seeking protective bail.
The petitioner stated that he feared that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will arrest him.
Accepting Hamza's plea, the court granted him protective bail till November 13 and ordered that the PML-N leader not be arrested till the next hearing.
Meanwhile, the court also issued a notice to the accountability watchdog and summoned a reply on Hamza's plea.
