Islamabad (Staff Report): The leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) arrived at Adiala Jail to meet the former premier Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar.

According to details, senior leaders of PML-N including former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal, former information minister Mariyam Aurangzeb, former foreign minister Khawaja Asif, Mussadiq Malik, Mushahid Hussain, Pervaiz Malik, Shaista Pervaiz , and others arrived at the jail on Thursday to meet former PM Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar.

The Adiala Jail authorities have declared Thursday for visitors to meet the imprisoned leader, his daughter and son-in-law till 4PM.

Meanwhile, Talal Chaudhry, who was disqualified by the Supreme Court in contempt case earlier today, also arrived to meet Nawaz Sharif.

On Sunday, the former prime minister was shifted to Pakistan Institute Of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical checkup after he complained about pain in his left arm and heart. He was sent back to Adiala Jail on Tuesday.

On July 13, Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam were jailed after the accountability court convicted the former PM, his daughter and son-in-law Capt in Avenfield properties reference.

The court awarded ousted premier to 10 years and Maryam Nawaz to 7 years imprisonment in the Avenfield corruption reference, while Capt (retd) Safdar will also face one year jail term in the case.

Moreover, Nawaz and Maryam were also fined 8 and 2 million pounds respectively.
