Loralai (Staff Report): At least four labourers were suffocated to death while one other was injured on Wednesday when a coal mine in Balochistan’s Chamalang area overfilled with gas.
According to official sources, at least five labourers were extracting coal out of the mines in Chamalang when it filled with gas leading to an explosion. The explosion resulted in killing four of the labourers.
They said the deceased labourers all belonged to the same family, including two brothers.
The injured labourer has been shifted to a hospital.
The authorities have sealed the coal mine and launched an investigation into the matter.
