Islamabad (Staff Report): The central working committee (CWC) of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has approved an amendment in party’s constitution, allowing a disqualified member parliament to lead the party .
CWC meeting held on Monday under the chair of party’s interim president Sardar Yaqub Nasir at Punjab House. The CWC unanimously accepted the amendment.
The PML-N members also endorsed a resolution forwarded by Climate Change Minister Senator Mushahidullah Khan.
Nawaz Sharif had to quit both as the Prime Minister of Pakistan as well as the president PML-N following his disqualification by the Supreme Court in the Panama case.
