Ankara (Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday arrived in Konya on a two-day official visit to Turkey on the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
PM Imran was warmly received by Governor Konya Cüneyit Orhan Toprak, Deputy Mayor Mithat and Pakistani ambassador Syrus Sajjad Qazi at the airport.
During his visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan will discuss bilateral relations including regional and international issues with the Turkish president.
He will address a business forum and also hold meetings with Turkish traders and businessmen.
This is pertinent to mention here that it is the first official visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Turkey after assuming his office.
The PM is accompanied by a high level delegation comprising Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Finance Asad Umar, Minister for Planning Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtyar and others.
