PM Imran inaugurates Sir Syed Express train

Islamabad (Staff Report): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday inaugurated Rawalpindi-Karachi bound Sir Syed Express train.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony at Rawalpindi Station, PM Imran expressed the resolve to lay down new railway tracks to facilitate common people of Pakistan.

He said Pakistan Railways provides the best and the easiest mode of transportation to common people and elderly.

The PM said civilized societies always focus on improving their railway system. He said the government has signed an MOU with China regarding ML-1 to upgrade Pakistan's railway tracks. He said with the completion of ML-1, there will be huge investment in Pakistan.
