Rain-thunderstorm to dominate most of country parts: Met. Dept.

Lahore (Staff Report): Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday has predicted that the new rain spells likely to continue during next 24 hours in parts of the country.

According to details, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including the divisions of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Hazara divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir while at isolated places in Peshawar, Kohat, Malakand, Sargodha, Mirpurkhas divisions, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Rainfall is expected in FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the sharp wind and snowfall is likely to occur in Northern mountains.

Rain started in Lahore in the wee hours of Saturday and turned the weather pleasant after what the recorded temperature of Lahore is 21°C.
