Lahore (Staff Report): Meteorological Department has predicted hot and humid weather for most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
According to Met, more rain-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Kohat divisions and FATA.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Friday morning:
Islamabad and Quetta 23°C, Lahore 30°C, Karachi 29°C, Peshawar 27°C, Gilgit 24°C, Murree 18°C and Muzaffarabad 26°Cdegree centigrade.
According to synoptic situation, moderate monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of country and likely to weaken in 12 to 24 hours. A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours.
