Lahore (Staff Report): At least 47 accused were apprehended during operations in Lahore Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur and Attock, during the crackdown operation of Rangers and police against terrorists and criminal elements continues in Punjab. The operation was also carried in the federal capital Islamabad.
According to details, suspects taken into custody from different cities of Punjab also included activists of banned organizations, banned literature and arms were seized from the arrested persons.
However, in Naulakha, Ravi Road and New Anarkali areas police search operations using biometric device, were also carried out by police and checked identity documents of the residents during house-to-house search.
