Hot, humid weather likely to prevail in most parts of country: Met

Lahore (Staff Report): Meteorological Department has predicted hot and humid weather for most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

According to Met, more rain-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala division, FATA, Islamabad, GB and Kashmir.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning:

Islamabad  26 °C, Lahore 30°C, Karachi 29°C, Peshawar 28°C, Quetta 22°C, Gilgit 25°C, Murree 19°C and Muzaffarabad 23°C.

According to synoptic situation, Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Weak moist currents from Arabian sea are penetrating upper parts of country. A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country and its adjoining areas.
