Karachi (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Karachi for a day-long visit on Saturday.
The PM is accompanied by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz and MNA Amir Mahmood Kayani.
During the visit, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and the members of a committee comprising federal and Sindh government ministers.
The premier is also expected to hold a meeting with businessmen and industrialists.
A briefing about the situation prevailing in Karachi is also part of engagements.
The prime minister will make important announcements under Karachi Transformation Plan during a media briefing.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to meet members of the PTI-led government's coalition partners, the Grand Democratic Alliance and the Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) efore wrapping up his one-day Karachi visit.
Later, PM Imran Khan will pay a visit to the Pakistan Stock Exchange before departing from Karachi.
