Rockslide leaves five killed, six wounded

Karachi (Staff Report): A huge rock broke off a mountain and fell on a house leaving at least five people were killed and six others wounded in Karachi early Thursday.

According to the police officials SP Asif Razzak, in Gulshan e Ghazi area of Karachi's Baldia Town the boulder fell on a house. The house was owned by a man, Zameer Gul.

Rescue members reached to the stop and pulled out five bodies including those of Gul, his son and daughter, from the rubble.

Three minor girls and a man are still said to be trapped under the rubble efforts are underway to save them.

The rescue official said, Gul's wife and another daughter were injured in the incident. They were rescued from the wreckage.
