COAS Bajwa meets US students, lauds youth contribution to national progress

Rawalpindi (Staff Report/Agencies): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has appreciated the contributions of youth to national progress on the whole as part of the nation.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS was talking to a group of students from US Cornell University who called on him in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

The ISPR added that the army chief shared his thoughts about Pakistan and its journey to enduring peace.

Referring to vibrant youth of Pakistan, the COAS credited successes in war against terror to the bravery and motivation of the junior leadership besides their contributions to national progress on the whole as part of the nation.

The Pakistan army’s media wing said that the students shared experience of their visit to Pakistan during the meeting and said Pakistan is a beautiful and peaceful country.

Students visited Lahore, Hunza valley, Parliament house and Islamabad during the visit.

On this occasion, the US university students thanked the army chief and said that they are taking back home with the first hand reality about peaceful and beautiful Pakistan.
