Islamabad: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah Tuesday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Matters relating to national security and maritime were discussed in the meeting.
On Monday, Chief of Army Staff General (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain separately and discussed matters pertaining to national security.
Mamnoon Hussain said that implementation on National Action Plan should be continued for peace and security in the country. He said the operation Zarb-e-Azb should continue till realization of all objectives.
The Army Chief said the armed forces will live up to the expectations of the people for defense of the country.
General Bajwa was entrusted the command of Pak-Army in command changing ceremony held on 29th November, where former General Raheel Sharif handed over the ‘Malacca cane’ to newly appointed COAS.
