Sydney (Staff Report): Pakistan left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir received an injury during physical training on the fourth morning of the third Commonwealth Bank Test against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

According to details, Amir pulled a muscle during the training and is undergoing a scan to determine the nature of the injury and the extent of the damage.

Amjad Hussain Bhatti, the PCB Director Media, told Pakistan’s traveling journalists in Sydney, “Amir picked a side strain underneath his left-arm during the practice session in the morning today and has gone for an MRI scan.”

Pakistan team management will wait for the result of the scans to make decision on his further participation in the match.
